No one sets out to become a gambling addict, I know I didn’t. The entertainment, food, shows, it can and does suck the unwary in. A life of lying, running from reality to a world of no responsibilities and a feeling of importance when you begin to be recognized by the casino employees, enjoy free food, alcohol and the Holy Grail “Free Play”.
The only true freedom will be found when one finally lets God break the chains, and bring everything to the light. Not just the addiction, but that powerful, loving light that shines into all the dark secret corners, we have hidden from our earliest memories. Only God can give us the strength and conviction to repair and redeem our lives.
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. Ephesians 1:7.
