So, I went looking elsewhere to be accepted – in sex, alcohol, drugs – to do whatever to feel loved for me. All it ever did was end in bad choices, with bad results, including 3 failed marriages, being left alone with 2 small children and feeling I couldn’t do anything right.
I would like to share with you my journey of learning to forgive, accept and become the person Jesus saw in me, because I couldn’t see that in myself. It’s a story of His love, His faithfulness, that still carries me each and every day.
Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will make your paths straight.”
God is never late. He meets us where we are as we open our hearts to Him and find healing. I look forward to meeting you!
