I struggled with my worth and feelings of “not enough” and “not lovable” most of my life. These negative emotions led me into a very negative and destructive way of living. But God! Through a journey of truth, hope, grace, love and redemption, God showed me that my worth isn’t found in worldly things, not in other people, or the reflection in the mirror, not the size of my waistband, the number on the scale, and definitely not in the lies of social media. My identity, my worth, my value is only found in Him and who He created me to be.
But now, O Jacob, listen tot the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, “Do not be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name; you are mine” (Isaiah 43:1).
