{"id":954,"date":"2016-06-30T05:46:57","date_gmt":"2016-06-30T05:46:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/104.238.96.231\/~heartshealed\/?p=954"},"modified":"2016-06-30T05:46:57","modified_gmt":"2016-06-30T05:46:57","slug":"what-are-you-waiting-for","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yuma.heartsbeinghealed.org\/yuma\/what-are-you-waiting-for\/","title":{"rendered":"What Are You Waiting For?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>God promises us so many things. \u00a0Even so, our life will still have obstacles. \u00a0Becoming a Christian doesn\u2019t give you an easy road. \u00a0On the contrary, scripture says in Mathew 7:13-14, <em>\u201cEnter in the narrow gate. \u00a0For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. \u00a0For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Will you be one of the few? \u00a0Life is full of pitfalls because this world is a fallen world. But for those of us who take the narrow gate pursuing God with all of our heart, mind and soul, we find God\u2019s love, grace and His amazing peace.<\/p>\n<p>So when life throws you a curve ball, knowing that God will never leave you nor forsake you, it is worth it all. \u00a0Hebrews 13: 5-6<\/p>\n<p>Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, <em>\u201cI will never leave you nor forsake you.\u201d<\/em> So we can confidently say,<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0\u201cThe Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The world (man) can do some pretty awful things to us, but the world cannot take away God\u2019s love for us, or our love for Him. \u00a0It can\u2019t take away the gift from God, the Holy Spirit from us. \u00a0It cannot take away our eternity that our Father God gives us.
